Horizontal vacuum belt filter
Model:DU 10/1000
Filtering Area:1-100 m2
Construction material:Carbon steel,304 or 316L stainless steel,PP .
Applications: Citric acid, coal slime and fine coals, copper mining, phosphate etc
Optional functions:Filter cake washing,shield hood…
Horizontal Vacuum Belt Filter:
Vacuum belt filter is used for sludge dewatering and liquid filtration, compared with filter press, the vacuum belt filter can work 24 hours continously and can also get very dry filter cakes.
It can also used in many applications such as Iron/Copper tailings, Gypsum, Phosphate rock, Coal fines, Magnetite, Iron ore, Lithium etc.

Vacuum Belt Filter Structure:
The main components of the DU rubber vacuum belt filter are :rubber belt, filter cloth, vacuum box, driving rollers, driven rollers, bend rollers, support rollers for rubber belt, feed hopper, cake discharge device, auto-rectifying system of filter cloth, drive system, filter cloth washing device, filter cake washing device and frame etc.
Working Principle:
The solid-liquid separation of DU rubber vacuum belt filter are mainly achieved by the gravity of the filtering material and the sucking power of the vacuum.the working principle is:
As shown in the figure, the annular rubber belt moves continuously under driven of the reducer, the filter cloth are placed on the rubber belt, and moves synchronously with the belt when there is vacuum.rubber belt are in sliding contact with the vacuum box,the vacuum sucking zone will be formed when the vacuum box is connected with the vacuum system, the slurry are spread evenly by the feed hopper on the filter cloth ,under the sucking power of vacuum, the filtrate comes through the filter cloth and enters into the vacuum box through the small holes in the rubber belt, then the filtrate are discharged through gas-liquid separation can, while the solids are intercepted by the filter cloth. The filter cake moves to washing zone, sucking zone in turn and then are discharged at the end of the vacuum belt filter. After this, the filter cloth are washed and moves to the filtering zone for another cycle of filtering.
Advantages of the vacuum belt filter:
- Can get low moisture filter cakes and clear filtrate, can also wash the filter cakes.
- High filtering capacity for solid-liquid separation.
- Longer filter cloth life time.
- Easy operation, easy maintance and low cost.
